Carol Bright Reeder

Principal

Carol is the founder of the Reeder Family group of companies, including the companies affiliated with Reeder Capital Partners, and including the foundational Reeder Energy Ltd. (now Reeder Energy Partners) which consisted of several of the legacy properties owned by her father, H. R. “Bum” Bright. Carol serves as a voting member on the investment committee. Having previously served on the Board of Directors for State Bank and Trust, Carol was also responsible for managing the 6,000+ acres Pinehurst Farm family ranching facility for many years, including its timber, pecan and cattle businesses. Carol has also served the Dallas community at large as Chairwoman of multiple committees of the Junior League, as well as a Board member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Dallas Children’s Medical Center, Vice-Chair of Chapel of the Cross Reformed Episcopal Church in Dallas, and lastly on the Board of the Castle Hills Schools Foundation, which provides scholarships for families of Castle Hills property owners, a large master planned community built on land her father first acquired in 1952. Carol attended both Texas Tech and The University of Texas at Austin, where she received her BA in History.
